Loopfuse Taps Demand Generation Guru To Join Company’s Advisory Board

ATLANTA, GA, March 17, 2010 LoopFuse, a leader in sales and marketing automation for business-to-business customers, today announced that Marcus Tewksbury, a highly regarded marketing and demand generation expert, has been appointed to LoopFuse’s strategic advisory board. Tewksbury is currently a principal analyst at The Marketing Mojo, where he focuses on demand generation technologies. In addition, he is a recognized author, speaker, and thought leader on optimizing marketing organizations. Tewksbury joins current advisory board member, Matt Asay, one of the industry’s leading open source business strategists and COO at Canonical, the company behind the Ubuntu Linux operating system.

Tewksbury is known throughout the industry for his work in engagement marketing, where he focuses on helping marketers manage the disruption wrought by digital saturation and the effect of word of mouth. He is an authority on how companies can turbocharge their inbound marketing efforts, select and implement successful social media marketing strategies, and drive customer engagement. Tewksbury has worked with some of the largest companies, including Wal-Mart, JP Morgan, Hallmark, Walgreens and Coach.

Previously, Tewksbury served as an account operations manager at interactive ad agency Avenue A | Razorfish, and as director for Vation, a CRM startup focused on launching a closed loop, multi-channel marketing and e-commerce platform. He holds a Master’s degree in business from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, pursued post-grad computer sciences work at the University of Delaware, and received his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Georgetown University.
