One email lead nurturing example we recommend to every company that is focused on getting people to sign up or register on their website is the simple Email Drip Campaign. This is a very straightforward, time-based flow that can have some additional sophistication added by segmenting how a web form is filled out and using those variables to drive the content and timing – location, areas of interest, role, etc.
The basic flow will look like this:
Create a lead flow and name it.
Add a “Welcome Email”. We’re going to tie this flow to a Form Registration so, in this case, this first email will go out as soon as they fill out the form.
Create a Pause node. We’re going to wait 2 days after the initial send.
Send a Follow up email.
Create another Pause node. Just as an example of how you can control Pause nodes, this one is set to avoid weekend delivery.
Send a second Follow Up email.
There you go! A simple, straightforward Drip Campaign lead flow.
